FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT (FERPA)

Working in partnership with the Office of the Registrar, you may find a significant amount of information about the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) here.

It's important to note that the Office of Judicial Affairs employs a waiver tailored to our office. While we are more than happy to partner with Mason families, without a completed FERPA waiver on record, the Office of Judicial Affairs is likely unable to confirm or deny your student's relationship with our office. MISSION

It is the mission of the Office of Judicial Affairs and the Student Conduct System at George Mason University to turn potential incidents of misconduct into opportunities for the facilitation of education and student development. It is our goal that as student makes their way through the adjudication process, they will leave that process as better educated students, better all around members of the University community, and better global citizens.
